Ossa Magazine

Although the scope of our magazine is centred foremost on critical writing, we also consider submissions for original poetry and prose.  

Guidelines:

• Please send pitches for critical writing to our e-mail at ossamagazine@gmail.com, rather than to our Submittable.
• If you are submitting poetry, please keep poems together on the same file.
• Please include an e-mail address with your submission.
• Submissions must be previously unpublished. However, we allow for simultaneous submissions. Please let us know as soon as your work is accepted elsewhere.  
• If you already have a pending submission, please wait for a response from us before sending a new submission our way.
• Expect a response time of up to four months.

Ossa is a Montreal-based literary and arts magazine committed to socially and politically conscious dissemination. We are in search of underrepresented voices that challenge and critique. We are dedicated to accountable and transparent publishing. 

Ossa is a Greek goddess and the personification of gossip. She is said to have wings and carry a trumpet relaying messages.
